A major part of my painting is guided by intuition, the subconscious, and dream imagery. I begin with rapid sketches, allowing instinct to lead the movement of ink and pencil on paper. These marks become a channel through which emotions and inner states emerge, unfolding freely. Sometimes playful, sometimes shy or bold, at other times solemn and melancholic, they gradually take on a presence and character of their own.
